1How do I book a private tour?

2How big can my group be?
The maximum number of persons for any one group is 12.
3Are children allowed on private tours?
Yes. For private tours, children are allowed on both the Original Bajan Walking Food Tour and the St Lawrence Gap Dinner and Cocktail Tour. However, alcohol will NOT be served to minors.
4Can I have a shorter private tour?
Yes. Your private group can request a shorter tour length if desired. This must be indicated at the time of the booking.
5Does a private tour come in other languages?
Currently, tours are only offered in English. If you would prefer your private tour in another language, email us and let’s see what we can do for you.
6Can I get a refund?
You may cancel your reservation for no charge until 24 hours before the starting time of your tour. Any cancellations made after this time will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
7Is there parking available?
Yes. There is a nearby car park which charges US $0.50 per hour
8Will I make it back to my ship in time?
Our tours are scheduled to finish by 2 pm, and our ending location is 5 – 10 minutes walk from the cruise terminal.
9How do I get to the start location?
You can either walk to the start location about 10 – 15 minutes away, or you can get a taxi from the cruise port, about US$3 per person.
10Is there a difference between The Original Bajan Walking Food Tour and the Cruise Excursion tour?
No, there is no difference. If you are arriving by ship and would like to experience our day tour, we suggest that you purchase the Cruise Excursion ticket, as this ticket will give detailed directions from the cruise terminal to our start location.
11Is there parking available in St. Lawrence Gap?
Yes. Parking is available in St. Lawrence Gap at US $5 for the night.
12Is transportation available?
Yes. Tickets which include transportation are available on checkout.
‘Adults with transportation’ includes admission and round-trip transportation for ONE (1) Adult from accommodation located WITHIN the parishes of St. James, St. Michael and Christ Church.
‘Adults with extended transportation’ includes admission and round-trip transportation for ONE (1) Adult from accommodation located OUTSIDE the parishes of St. James, St. Michael and Christ Church.

13How much food and drink is served?
Our tours provide enough food and drink for most people to feel comfortably full afterwards.
14I use a wheelchair, can I join the tours?
We are sad to say that because many of the restaurants on our tours are not handicap accessible, we are unable to cater to those who use a wheelchair.
15How many people are on tour?
In light of Covid-19, we will be keeping our tours smaller to provide a safer and more comfortable experience for all on tour.

16In what language are tours conducted?
At this time, all tours and excursions are conducted in English only.
17I do not want to sample the food, can I still take the tour?
Yes, you may join the tour even if you are not interested in the food sampling. But please be aware that ALL persons on the tour must be holders of valid tickets.
18I am vegetarian, can I take a tour?
Yes. We can accommodate vegetarians on our tours.
19Are children allowed on the Bridgetown tour?
Yes. The Original Bajan Walking Food Tour (our daytime Bridgetown tour) is suitable for a full family experience. We welcome all members of the family at any age.
20Are children allowed?
No. Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed on the St. Lawrence Gap Dinner and Cocktail tour.
21Do we only walk around and sample food?
Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 3-hour experience. Imagine walking through the city eating our local artisans’ most delicious foods while learning about the history of this fascinating town.
22What if I have dietary allergies?
Please let us know if you, or anyone in your group, has any dietary allergies when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can try to accommodate your needs.
23Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
24If a food tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list?
If your preferred date is not available, please email us.
25Do I need to tip?
Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.
26Are bathrooms available during the tour?
Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations.
27What do we do in case of bad weather?
Our tours are very rarely cancelled due to bad weather. However, if severe weather (such as a hurricane or tropical storm) does prevent the tour from taking place, you will receive a full refund or a gift certificate to use on a date of your convenience.
28Do you support corporate, or private events?
We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, Birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate, conventions, festivals, parades, grand openings and more).
